FAKE ME
What does a Seeker do when an extra chair appears in the corner of a room and nobody can say whether it was there a moment ago? FAKE ME turns that question into every single round: a multiplayer hide-and-seek game split into two teams, where Fakers model their own disguise from scratch and Seekers have to work out which object does not belong.

Building a Disguise from Scratch in FAKE ME
Fakers do not pick from a menu of ready-made props. The modeling tools let you shape a single piece or combine several, so a small decoration and a large structure are equally possible, and because every player builds their own model, no two rounds look alike. That variety is the reason hiding spots never go stale in this game, even after many matches.
Beginners usually build something impressive and forget the room around it. A towering sculpture that nobody would place in that spot is the fastest way to get caught.
The advice that matters most is size, color and position. A disguise that matches the palette of the map and sits where such an object would naturally stand beats a clever model parked in the open, while an unusual shape can still work when its goal is to confuse Seekers rather than fool them. Creative builders will lose track of time in the modeling tools, so keep one eye on the round timer.
Prop Paint Mode: Hiding Without Modeling a Shape
Prop Paint Mode lets a Faker transform into an object that already exists on the map and paint it however they like. It is the quicker route into a match: early in a round, a Faker using Prop Paint Mode is already hidden while a modeler is still shaping pieces. You can paint the object to match its surroundings or pick colors that make it stand out on purpose.
The trade-off is originality. A painted copy has to look at home beside the real objects around it, whereas a custom model can be anything, and a Seeker who knows the furniture of the map will spot a duplicate in the wrong place.
One open question is how Fakers who dislike modeling will fare against a lobby of confident builders. Prop Paint Mode exists to soften that gap, but whether it fully closes it is something players will keep debating once matches are widespread.
Reading the Room as a Seeker in FAKE ME
Seekers win by noticing: a strangely shaped box, an extra chair or a structure that was not there before could be another player. The goal is to find every Faker before time runs out, so suspicion has to turn into action as the timer drops, because each Faker left standing counts against the team. Competitive players who enjoy pattern-spotting will like how quickly an odd proportion jumps out.
Skills change the pace for both sides. A well-timed move can help a Faker hide or escape and help a Seeker find an opponent. Seekers can also paint their character and build a costume from combined shapes, so even the hunters bring their own style.
The sound wheel adds funny sounds, and voice recording lets players add their own lines and impressions, which makes matches loud and chaotic in the best way. Models can be saved to a library, exported for other programs or shared through screenshots, so a favorite build can outlive a single round.
Faker and Seeker Questions Answered
- How do you stay hidden as a Faker? Match the size, color and position of your model to the map so it reads as a natural part of the room. A convincing prop works, but an unusual disguise built to confuse Seekers can also buy time until the timer runs out.
- Can you customize your own character? Yes, Seekers can paint their character and create costumes by modeling and combining different shapes. The same modeling tools that build Faker disguises also power these costumes, so a funny look or a warrior style is entirely up to you.
- Can you keep the models you build? Models can be saved to your library and viewed later or exported for use in other programs. Screenshots of your creations can be shared too, which makes the library useful beyond a single match.
FAKE ME works because the Fakers’ best moment and the Seekers’ best moment are the same moment: someone stares at a chair and decides whether to trust it. Between Prop Paint Mode shortcuts, sound wheel mischief and models saved to your library, every round hands both teams new material to build, suspect and laugh about.
